Nebraska Governor's Hunt

2005 Governor's Hunt, Beatrice Nebraska
The annual hunt and banquet are sponsored by Main Street Beatrice in cooperation with Cub Creek Hunting and Covey Rise Outfitters.

Friday enjoy a 1/2 day at the Gun club shoot skeet, and trap. That night enjoy dinner held at the Valentino's banquet hall, with guest speakers, food, and drinks. Each team will get complementary guest bags with information on local dinning, shops, and business sponsor information.

The hunt uses a one-box format with each team receiving one box of 25 shells. You have from sunrise to 12:00pm to bag your team limit or shoot a box of shells. Check-in is located down at a local tavern for team pictures.

Saturday night a Hunter Banquet is held for all teams. The dinner includes main course, drinks, desert, and prizes.

    The event will be held November 2nd and 3rd
  • Cost
    Five-person teams would "limit out" at 15 birds or three per team member. Team entry fees are $1,500
  • Tournament
    Winners are determined by the number of birds bagged by each team during the morning hunt.
