Southern Winds

The Southern Winds Hunt Club is located 70 miles south of Des Moines, Iowa off Interstate 35 and about 10 miles north of the Iowa and Missouri Border. Take Exit 12 East to Leon, Iowa (5 miles). Turn right at the first intersection past the four way stop (at the NAPA Auto parts store). Go 7.2 miles on the blacktop, turn left and travel 1.9 miles on the gravel road. Southern winds is on the south side of the road.

Big Game Hunting for Elk, Whitetail Deer, and Mountain Sheep has been so convenient for both the novice hunter as well as the experienced hunter. You'll find trophy Elk, and Mountain Sheep in our controlled hunt area.

Our whitetail deer-hunting package includes a five day hunt complete with lodging and meals. This is guided hunt. These hunts are only allowed during the state seasons.

We offer Whitetail deer, Turkey, and small game hunts in our wild hunt areas. Our staff of trained guides will help you not just get your animal but will help you learn to appreciate the process.
