The Xtreme Outdoorsman Challenge has change the format to an open hunting challenge anywhere in the Midwest. Hunt in North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, and Missouri. You and a partner will hunt 4 species of game over 2 days. You must fill 1 bag of each specie per team. This year you can hunt in your home state, choose the days during the hunting season, and win big prizes.

Do you think you have what it takes to bag 4 species over a two day period before hundreds of other teams? If you got what it takes, then sign up for the Xtreme Outdoorsman Challenge. The hunting challenge is a test of shooting skills, bird calling, stalking, camouflage, and logistical planning.

The Event

Make plans to compete in the Xtreme Outdoorsman Challenge. The event will start at the beginning of the hunting seasons of the State you choose to hunt. The competition will end December 31, 2008. You must start and finish your hunting in a two day consectitive period.

The Entry Fees

Blue Collar- $500 per team member. The entry fee is just to compete in the Xtreme Outdoorsman Challenge. This fits those teams that have limited budgets, vast access to land and species. The entry fee will be pooled into the cash prizes ($450.00), covers the field judges ($400.00), non-profit donations to the SANDS program, and NorthWind Wishes ($100.00) and a processing/staff fee/Marketing ($50.00).

White Collar- $3,000.00 per team. If you need a place to hunt, then you need to purchase an all inclusive entry package. This entry fee has a $2,000.00 Outfitter fee built into the entry. The Team is allowed to hunt with a private outfitter that offers fair-chase, non-planted birds and non-fenced deer. The meals, lodging, air-port transportation, cleaning, and all species available for hunting. The outfitters will be available in any state listed as a place available to compete in the Challenge. The remaining entry fee will be pooled into the cash prizes ($450.00), covers the field judges ($400.00), non-profit donations to the SANDS program, and NorthWind Wishes ($100.00) and a processing/staff fee/Marketing ($50.00).

The Species

Hunt pheasant, goose, duck, quail, grouse or prairie chicken, deer and turkey. Your team must first choose a state and then hunt 1 upland specie (pheasant, quail, prairie chicken/grouse, ruffed grouse), 1 waterfowl specie (ducks, or geese), 1 deer and 1 turkey. Your bag limits, hunting rules, and licenses must be according to the State you officially registered with Challenge Concepts.

The Rules

To compete, you must be 19 or older and have a valid drivers license, and a valid hunting license. A complete list of Rules & Regulations will be available at opening of the official registration date 2/1/2008.
